FOUNDER & CEO

Dr Shamim Safkat Khan

MBBS · MSc Psychology of Mental Health

Lead Clinical Coder across seven GP sites, with around three years in coding and seven years in software development. Trained or supported 15+ staff and built the product’s workflow and architecture.

THE BUYER & PROBLEM

GP practices with a coding queue.

Coding teams must preserve diagnoses, medicine changes, results and follow-up from each letter. Practice managers and clinical leads are the proposed pilot decision-makers.

THE PRODUCT APPROACH

Evidence stays beside the decision.

Source highlights, concept alternatives, context controls and review alerts in one workspace, designed around the clinician’s coding decision.

THE ROUTE TO REVENUE

Pilot, measure, then convert.

Founder-led conversations → a scoped 12-week evaluation → measured quality and time → a paid-practice decision. Target 3–5 pilots before wider adoption.

PROPOSED SUBSCRIPTION

6.5p per registered patient / month

£650 monthly for an illustrative 10,000-patient practice. Pricing and willingness to pay remain pilot questions.

PROPOSED USAGE OPTION

15.99p per letter · software only

An alternative to subscription. Integration costs, human review and cost to serve must be evaluated separately.

INITIAL COMMERCIAL TARGET

10–25 practices

At the illustrative practice size and subscription above: £78k–£195k annual recurring revenue. A scenario, not contracted revenue or a forecast.

The initial market is UK general practice. Referrals, recalls and broader results automation are future expansion plans; their potential revenue is excluded from this coding-only scenario.

EARLY EVIDENCE / OCTOBER 2026

Two early checks.
Different questions.

Early evidence informs the next stage. Independent validation remains a pilot objective.

Recorded development evidence
October 2026

SYNTHETIC DEVELOPMENT SET

106/107

Expected SNOMED concepts correct

23 synthetic letters · recorded 9 October 2026. Also measured: 153/153 expected facts found and 130/132 assertions correct.

Development cases reused during tuning, with an in-house answer key. Recall is not overall accuracy. One incorrect concept and two incorrect assertions remained; expected uncoded handling was 31/46.

INITIAL REAL-LETTER CHECK

141/147

Marked suggestions judged right

13 real letters; 147 of 150 items marked by Dr Shamim Safkat Khan on 12 October 2026, from a 3 October pipeline run.

The marker is also the founder. Five wrong-code suggestions and one item that should not be filed remained. This internal check is not independent validation or a measure of missed facts.

THE £250K PRE-SEED PLAN

Fund the next
measurable milestones.

The objective is independently evaluated pilots and a credible route to deployment and paid adoption.

PROPOSED ROUND£250k

£50k strategic first close
Proposed priority: independent review, clinical safety input and preparation for the first scoped pilot.

£200k subsequent funding
Proposed priority: engineering capacity, further practice pilots, assurance work and commercial validation.

Staging priorities are a proposed delivery sequence, not separate committed budgets. Terms and milestones remain subject to agreement. SEIS eligibility and advance assurance are unconfirmed.

01

Evaluate in practice

Run the first scoped 12-week pilot, then target 3–5 pilots. Measure time, acceptance, missed facts and cost.

02

Build deployment evidence

Independent clinician marking, clinical safety capacity, security review and an approved integration route. Live EMIS filing remains untested.

03

Test paid adoption

Validate pricing and support needs. Target 10–25 paying practices once pilot results support progression.
